Number 1 - Trinidad Cuban cigars from Habanos

Number one on the hit parade has to go to the range of Trinidad cigars from Habanos. In March of 2004 the price of the Trinidad Fundadores was reduced by Habanos in order to get them selling. One year later, along with the introduction of the Trinidad Reyes, Coloniales and Robusto Extra, Trinidad cigars are selling like the proverbial hot cakes. As with all supply and demand the price can only go one way in the future and the prediction is that these high quality cigars will one day match Cohiba in their asking prices. If there is a better constructed cigar than the Trinidad range we would like to see them. The bottom line? Buy these cigars now whilst prices are accessible. Why wait till they are double or triple the price they are now?
 

Number 2 - Jose Piedra, Rafael Gonazalez and Quintero cigars

The Jose Piedra cazadores, the Rafael Gonzalez panetelas and the Quintero brevas cigars have one thing in common - they sell by the boatload. Ramon Allones cigars and the Specially Selected robustos in particular need no hard sell from ourselves. The Ramon Allones robusto is a cigar that is well appreciated in the world of aficionados and production has always been kept small in order to maintain quality. Unlike the Trinidad range above we are not talking recent history - Ramon Allones cigars were first registered in 1837 making them one of the oldest brands of Cuban cigars. Apart from creating a brand that has lasted over 165 years, Ramon Allones from Galicia in the north west of Spain is also credited with being the first to utilise lithographic designs on his cigar boxes, an initiative that was later adopted by the entire Cuban cigar industry. We say hats off to Ramon Allones who in his own quiet way has done much to lay the foundations and traditions of the Havana cigar.
