5 Jose L. Piedra Petit Cetros cigars

Petit Cetros format - ring size 38, length 127 mm - machine made - medium to full strength. Jose Piedra cigars make no pretence at being anything more than they actually are - an everyday Cuban smoke at a good price. They are very popular both here in Spain and in Cuba and they have been around for many years - since 1880 when the Piedra family, emigrantes of Asturias in Northern Spain, first began producing them in the Vuelta Arriba region of Cuba. They sell in the UK for upwards of 4 times the prices listed below - es ridiculo hombres! There are bundles of 25 cigars available (above left in the picture) but we don't sell them because they have poor protection in the post - if you want a box of 25 we send a carton similar to the one in the centre of the picture that contains 5 packets of 5 cigars.

"These rustic little machine-made wonders prove that you don't have to be rich to have rich taste. I first bought a 5-pack while vacationing in Barcelona. It cost about 2 bucks at the time, but in Spain it's a popular working man's cigar. As I smoked them, despite their occasional rough construction and slightly loose fill, I kept thinking "damn this is better than just about anything I can get back in the States!" It is medium to mild and has a distinct earthiness with sweet spices and big mouthfuls of smoke.
